Terms of Service

These terms cover how you can use Rollify (the site at rollify.net and its tools). By using the site, you agree to the basics below. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Rollify is

A collection of free, in-browser random-content generators (Pictionary words, charades phrases, gamertags, funny names, random animals, and more being added). No accounts, no payment, no signup. Tools run client-side except where AI is explicitly invoked (currently only the "Get an extra fact" button on the animal page).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Automate or scrape the site at a rate that meaningfully impacts other users. Casual personal scraping for one-off projects is fine; running a 10K-requests-per-second bot is not.
• Attempt to bypass Cloudflare's bot protection, rate limits, or security headers.
• Use the site or its outputs to harass, defame, or impersonate individuals. The tools produce random output; you remain responsible for how you use that output.
• Use the AI-augmented features (currently the animal fact button) to generate malicious, deceptive, or harmful content.

Output ownership

Names, words, and phrases generated by the tools are public-domain by nature — they're combinations of common words, often deliberately unowned. You can use them freely (gamertags, character names, party game words, classroom prompts). We make no IP claim on the rolled output. The site's code, design, and copy are ours.

AI-generated content disclaimer

Most output is combinatorial (assembled from hand-curated word pools at roll time). One feature uses AI: the "Get an extra fact" button on the animal page, which calls OpenRouter's API.

AI-generated text can be wrong. We've tuned the prompts toward accuracy and added "verified fact" labeling to distinguish the hand-curated primary facts from the AI extras, but AI outputs are not fact-checked in real time. Don't rely on AI-extended animal facts for homework, articles, or anything else where accuracy matters.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uptime, error-free operation, suitability for any particular purpose, or perpetual availability of any tool. We're a small team (mostly one person) and we move fast — things can break.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using the site — including but not limited to lost data, lost time, embarrassment from a funny name choice, or D&D characters that didn't survive the campaign.

Changes to terms

If material terms change, the "Last updated" date above will move and we'll mark the change. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version. We won't retroactively apply new rules to past usage.

Termination

We can suspend access to the site for anyone who violates these terms (e.g., by hammering the API or attempting attacks). Since there are no accounts, this usually means IP- or fingerprint-level blocking via Cloudflare.
